Paul Redman joins the Change Your Filter podcast for the second time powered by Contractor Commerce

Who is Paul Redman?

We know you all loved our previous Tall Paul episode, so he’s back again as the interviewee! Change Your Filter host, Paul Redman, is the VP of Sales at Contractor Commerce. Since joining Contractor Commerce back in 2021, Paul’s sole mission has been to innovate the industry & urge more contractors to start selling online, or risk falling behind other industries.

In this episode, Paul is interviewed by the Editorial Director of HVACR Group (ACHR News) Kyle Gargaro. Kyle recently attended Paul’s breakout session at Service World Expo a month ago, and loved it so much that he invited Paul to join him on his podcast. This episode originally aired on Kyle’s “The Newsmaker” podcast, so be sure to check out his other episodes!

What to Expect

In this episode, Paul talks about all things eCommerce within the home services industry. Paul stresses the importance of innovation through eCommerce within the home services industry, and details the risk of waiting to open an online store “until it’s too late.”

Paul also talks about how supply chain affects home service online stores, and shares the success stories of real Contractor Commerce customers. Additionally, Paul talks about the main reasons contractors are opposed to eCommerce, and even flexes his marketing knowledge by educating viewers on how online pricing can positively impact your Google Search efforts.

Lastly, Paul talks about the actual Contractor Commerce technology. He explains all the benefits including (but not limited to) the amazing customizability, quickness & ease of setting up, convenience for both the customer and contractor, and so much more!

The Future of Home Services

Contractors have been through a lot of change over the past 10 years, especially the last 3. Paul strongly believes eCommerce is essential to growing & innovating home services unless we want to see contractors starting to get pushed out of the space.

Paul believes that in the near future, having an online store will be as normal as having a website. At Contractor Commerce, we believe in a future where every contractor has an online store.
